BBL SkinTyte with Profhilo for the neck

What is BBL SkinTyte?

What is Profhilo? 

Profhilo is the only available treatment that is designed to ageing. It boosts collagen and elastin while slowing down the of ageing. 

How does it work? 

Sciton SkinTyte uses broadband light technology to the skin. Through utilising advanced infrared light technology and patient-tailored filters, SkinTyte heats the deeper layers of the skin reaching the dermal collagen and firm areas that are loose or sagging. The light energy is delivered in rapid pulses that gently heat the skin to a temperature of 42 . This denatures collagen, leaving your skin soft, youthful, and tight. 

Known as the injectable moisturiser, Profhilo is precisely injected across strategic points in the neck. stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water within the deep layers of the skin and this provides structural support and hydration. The skin remodelling process begins, and a significant improvement will be seen. The skins structure in the neck is tightened while fine lines are plumped out giving a lifting effect.

What to expect? 

With the first treatment, SkinTyte, there is no need for anaesthetic. With each gently pulse of BBL, there will be a slight feeling of warmth. Most patients can tolerate the warmth feeling with no need for numbing cream. will carry out temperature checks throughout the treatment to ensure you are comfortable. Our practitioners will also discuss all options for tolerating any discomfort and any required pain relief at your consultation, so on the day of treatment you are ready to go. 

The following treatment, . Once injected, it gradually disperses and settles from the point of the injection site. As it and settles, it provides structural support and hydration across a wider area. It gets to work by kickstarting the skins remodelling process. The treatment is divided into 2 injectable treatment that enhance the area being treated. What is the required downtime? 

In the case of Profhilo, there isn’t any downtime required. At most, patients can experience slight swelling or bruising at the site of the injections. These should be minor and easily covered with mineral make up. Combined with the SkinTyte treatment, there may be mild redness, swelling (similar to a sunburn sensation or tightness of the skin). These effects are temporary and will quickly, with downtime being minimal. 

Any downtime will factor in the patient’s general health and wellbeing, and our practitioners will advise you accordingly. 

When will I see results? 

Optimum SkinTyte results can be seen 3 months after the initial treatment day. The initial Profhilo results of improved texture and skin tightness can be seen within a month.  

SkinTyte results of skin firming can vary, depending on the areas being treated, the individual, settings used. Your practitioner will talk you through what to expect and likely time frame for results. 

With Profhilo, for optimum results to be maintained, most patients require a maintenance treatment twice a year.
